I have a Bachelor's degree in Music from Hampshire College, and a certification in Violin from the New England Conservatory of Music. I can offer extensive performance experience in a variety of settings from classical to world music, having performed in a wide variety of venues from Carnegie Hall to the Great Pyramids of Egypt.

I opened my teaching studio in 1986, and have been offering Celtic, Bluegrass, Contradance, Klezmer, Jazz and Rock music lessons on violin, mandolin and guitar since then. Contact me for details.
I help my wife Emily run an import/export business called Emily's Violin Co. in our hometown of Amherst. We have traveled the world sourcing high quality four and five string violins and violas, bows and other accessories for the business.
