Sweet Music Publicity

I started booking bands back in 1998.  I book mostly roots, world and original music.  If you have a band and you want me to book you some gigs, I book mostly for weddings and private parties as the venues in western MA generally don't hire live local bands, or don't pay much (or anything for that matter).  

Here's how it works:
  • I take a 20% commission from the deposit mailed me for bands.  That's pretty much the going rate.  
  • I negotiate all aspects of the gig including pay, travel, gear and whatnot.  
  • My bands earn between $50-$100 per person per hour and receive a $25 per band travel allowance which covers gas and tolls (25 miles beyond 01075). My bands provide their own sound system which they make available to the paying client (only) for announcements.  

What I need from you:
  • 3 mp3s of your recent performances.  No videos.  No mp4s.  No wavs.  Mp3s only
  • A bio of your act.  One paragraph.  This is who we are.  This is what we play.  These are our influences.  This is what we sound like.  This is why you should hire us.
  • A recent band pic - not a logo, not an art piece.  A pic of your band.  Standing somewhere with your instruments.  I don't care, I need faces.
  • Your cell# so I can reach you 24/7; your email so I can email you the contract; your mailing address so I can mail you a check.
